Administrator - Search Recipes (USDA & Dairy Rich)

Menus Planners have the ability to search a database of USDA, Dairy Rich (dairy council recipes) and manufacturer recipes and pull in these recipes into the local recipe database for eventual use on menus. Recipes are fully built out with ingredients scaled to the correct quantities, directions and notes, recipe category, HAACP information, etc. Searching for and adding fully built out recipes saves menu planners time in creating new standardized recipe from scratch and provides for new, fresh ideas for menuing.

Once imported into the local recipe database, menu planners can modify and customize the recipe as desired such as recipe descriptions, ingredients within a recipe, description details and information, portions, and instructions. Menu planners will also have the option to swap out the generic ingredients from the recipes with purchased ingredients so these items will reflect purchased items on forecasts and in inventory.
