Choosi CNCentral
The Choosi app (pre-ordering and online menus) takes data entered into CNCentral and displays that data in the Choosi app for viewing online and when configured correctly for pre-ordering. Some fields in CNCentral are displayed in the app, while others are not. Below is a visual description of everything that appears in the Choosi app and where that is entered in CNCentral:
Pre-Ordering:
- Combo Name - The name entered into the Combo Name field will display in the Choosi app as the entrée name exactly as entered into the Combo Name field. An exception to this rule is when there is a Combo Customer Facing Name entered into CNCentral. If there is a Combo Customer Facing Name entered into that field, that will overwrite the Combo Name and that will be what appears in the app. When nothing is entered into the Combo Customer Facing Name, Choosi will default to displaying the Combo Name. Combo names are shown on menu main page and on an entrée detail page.
- Description - The text entered into the Description field will appear exactly as entered into the Description field. This field is optional. If nothing is entered, into this field, Choosi will not display anything for a description. Descriptions are shown on menu main page and on an entrée detail page.
- Image - The image uploaded for the Choosi Combo will display in the app exactly as displayed in the CNCentral. This field is optional. If no image is uploaded, Choosi will display a default stock image. There will always be an image displayed whether custom or stock. Images are shown on menu main page and on an entrée detail page.
- Brand Logos - Brand logos selected from the drop-down list will display in the Choosi app on the Entrée Detail page. Logos will NOT display on the main menu page in the app, an end user will need to select the entrée to view the detail page before they see the brand logos.
Online Menus:
- Item or Recipe Name - The name entered into the Item Name field or Recipe Name field will display in the Choosi app as the entrée name exactly as entered into the Item/Recipe Name field. An exception to this rule is when there is a Customer Facing Name entered into CNCentral. If there is a Customer Facing Name entered into that field, that will overwrite the Item/Recipe Name and that will be what appears in the app. When nothing is entered into the Customer Facing Name, Choosi will default to displaying the Item/Recipe Name. Item/Recipe names are shown on menu main page and on the item detail page.
- Image - The image uploaded for the Item or Recipe will display in the app exactly as displayed in CNCentral. This field is optional. If no image is uploaded, Choosi will display a default stock image. There will always be an image displayed whether custom or stock. Images are shown on menu main page and on the item detail page.
- Nutrient Information - Calories, saturated fat, sodium, and carbohydrates will display in the Choosi app exactly as how they were entered in CNCentral. Calories, saturated fat, and sodium are required fields in CNCentral for all items and recipes. Carbohydrates are optional and if they are not entered for an item or recipe, a "0" will appear. Nutrient information is shown on the item detail page only.
- Allergens - The "Big 8" allergens will display in the Choosi app if they are entered in CNCentral. Allergens are optional and if they are not entered in CNCentral for an item or recipe, the Allergens category will be visible in the app.
